Filling the Ark
If you want others to want what you have, you must demonstrate its value not by promotion but by attraction. They will notice your changes for better or for worse. You will attract them with more empathy, more heart, more love, more spiritual inclusiveness; you will drive them away with indifference, callousness, self righteousness, and meanness of spirit.
What a Riot
Watching the Canada Day celebrations in Ottawa on TV. More that 300k at the venue and on the streets. At the closing I imagined a riot breaking out, with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge leaping on an overturned Harper, brandishing lighters and old oily rags to spur the anarchists on. On the news, fellow Royals and friends said it was totally out of character for the young newlyweds. But why did they bring lighters and oily rags to the ceremonies?
